24 (A)And all who went out of the gate of his city listened to Hamor and to his son Shechem, and every male was circumcised, all who went out of the gate of his city.
25 Now it happened on the third day, when they were in pain, that two of Jacob’s sons, (B)Simeon and Levi, Dinah’s brothers, each took his sword and came upon the unsuspecting city and killed every male. 26 And they killed Hamor and his son Shechem with the edge of the sword and took Dinah from Shechem’s house and went away.

24 All the men who went out of the city gate(A) agreed with Hamor and his son Shechem, and every male in the city was circumcised.
25 Three days later, while all of them were still in pain,(B) two of Jacob’s sons, Simeon(C) and Levi,(D) Dinah’s brothers, took their swords(E) and attacked the unsuspecting city,(F) killing every male.(G) 26 They put Hamor and his son Shechem to the sword(H) and took Dinah(I) from Shechem’s house and left.
