Genesis 31:47-49

47 And Laban called it [a]Jegar Sahadutha, and Jacob called it [b]Galeed.
48 For Laban said, This heap is witness between me and thee this day: therefore he called the name of it Galeed.
49 Also he called it [c]Mizpah, because he said, The Lord [d]look between me and he, when we shall be [e]departed one from another.

47 A ese montón de piedras Labán le puso el nombre de Yegar Saduta, y Jacob lo llamó Galaad. 48 Luego Labán dijo:
―Este montón de piedras servirá para recordarnos el trato que tú y yo hemos hecho hoy.
Aquel lugar se llamó Galaad 49 y Mizpa, porque Labán dijo:
―Que el Señor cuide que nosotros respetemos este trato cuando nos hayamos separado.
