32 But as for whoever you find has taken your household idols, he will be put to death. With our relatives looking on, see if you can find anything belonging to you and take it.” Jacob did not know that Rachel had robbed them.
33 Laban entered Jacob’s tent and then the tent of Leah and the tent of the two slaves, but he did not find anything. Then he went out from Leah’s tent and entered Rachel’s tent. 34 Now Rachel had taken the idols and had placed them under a camel’s saddle and had then sat upon it. Laban searched throughout the whole tent and did not find them.

33 Então, entrou Labão na tenda de Jacó, e na tenda de Leia, e na tenda de ambas as servas e não os achou; e, saindo da tenda de Leia, entrou na tenda de Raquel. 34 Mas tinha tomado Raquel os ídolos, e os tinha posto na albarda de um camelo, e assentara-se sobre eles; e apalpou Labão toda a tenda e não os achou.

32 But if you find anyone who has your gods, that person shall not live.(A) In the presence of our relatives, see for yourself whether there is anything of yours here with me; and if so, take it.” Now Jacob did not know that Rachel had stolen the gods.(B)
33 So Laban went into Jacob’s tent and into Leah’s tent(C) and into the tent of the two female servants,(D) but he found nothing.(E) After he came out of Leah’s tent, he entered Rachel’s tent. 34 Now Rachel had taken the household gods(F) and put them inside her camel’s saddle(G) and was sitting on them. Laban searched(H) through everything in the tent but found nothing.
