²² Then God heard Rachel’s prayer and made it possible for Rachel to have children. ²³ She became pregnant and gave birth to a son. She said, “God has taken away my shame.” ²⁴ Rachel named the son Joseph,^[a] saying, “May the Lord give me another son.”
