Genesis 30:14-16

¹⁴ Now, Reuben went in the days of the wheat harvest and found mandrakes in the field and brought them to his mother, Leah. Then Rachel said to Leah, “Please give me some of your son’s mandrakes.”

¹⁵ But she answered her, “Is it a small matter for you to take my husband? And would you take my son’s mandrakes also?” Then Rachel said, “Therefore, he shall sleep with you tonight, for your son’s mandrakes.”

¹⁶ And Jacob came from the field in the evening. And Leah went out to meet him, and said, “Come into me, for I have bought and paid for you with my son’s mandrakes.” And he slept with her that night.
