¹³ The Lord was standing there beside him,^[a] saying, “I am the Lord,^(A) the God of your father Abraham and the God of Isaac. I will give you and your offspring the land on which you are lying.

²⁶ And as for the dead being raised—haven’t you read in the book of Moses, in the passage about the burning bush, how God said to him: I^(A) am the God of Abraham^(B) and the God of Isaac^(C) and the God of Jacob?^[a](D)

³⁷ Moses even indicated in the passage about the burning bush that the dead are raised, where he calls the Lord the God of Abraham and the God of Isaac and the God of Jacob.^[a](A)

³² I am the God of your ancestors—the God of Abraham, of Isaac, and of Jacob.^[a](A) Moses began to tremble and did not dare to look.
