Genesis 25:23-25

²³Yahweh said to her,

“Two countries are in your womb.
Two nations will go their separate ways from birth.
One nation will be stronger than the other,
and the older will serve the younger.”

²⁴When the time came for her to give birth, she had twins. ²⁵The first one born was red. His whole body was covered with hair, so they named him Esau [Hairy].

²³The Lord said to her,

“Two nations^(A) are in your womb,
and two peoples from within you will be separated;
one people will be stronger than the other,
and the older will serve the younger.^(B)”

²⁴When the time came for her to give birth,^(C) there were twin boys in her womb.^(D) ²⁵The first to come out was red,^(E) and his whole body was like a hairy garment;^(F) so they named him Esau.^[a]^(G)
