¹⁷ These are the years of the life of Ishmael, ^(A)one hundred and thirty-seven years; and he breathed his last and died, and was ^(B)gathered to his people.

²⁹ Isaac breathed his last and died and was ^(A)gathered to his people, an ^(B)old man ^[a]of ripe age; and ^(C)his sons Esau and Jacob buried him.

²⁹ Then he charged them and said to them, “I am about to be ^(A)gathered to my people; ^(B)bury me with my fathers in the cave that is in ^(C)the field of Ephron the Hittite,

³³ When Jacob finished charging his sons, he drew his feet into the bed and ^(A)breathed his last, and was ^(B)gathered to his people.
