The Descendants of Ishmael^(A)

¹² Ishmael, whom Hagar, the Egyptian slave of Sarah, bore to Abraham, ¹³ had the following sons, listed in the order of their birth: Nebaioth, Kedar, Adbeel, Mibsam, ¹⁴ Mishma, Dumah, Massa, ¹⁵ Hadad, Tema, Jetur, Naphish, and Kedemah. ¹⁶ They were the ancestors of twelve tribes, and their names were given to their villages and camping places.
