¹⁶ And the Lord God commanded the man, saying, “Of every tree of the garden you may freely eat;

²⁸ Then the children of Israel went away and ^(A)did so; just as the Lord had commanded Moses and Aaron, so they did.

⁵⁰ Thus all the children of Israel did; as the Lord commanded Moses and Aaron, so they did.

^2 (A)You shall not add to the word which I command you, nor take from it, that you may keep the commandments of the Lord your God which I command you.

¹³ ‘And it shall be that if you earnestly ^[a]obey My commandments which I command you today, to love the Lord your God and serve Him with all your heart and with all your soul,

²² “For if ^(A)you carefully keep all these commandments which I command you to do—to love the Lord your God, to walk in all His ways, and ^(B)to hold fast to Him—

^27 (A)the blessing, if you obey the commandments of the Lord your God which I command you today; ²⁸ and the ^(B)curse, if you do not obey the commandments of the Lord your God, but turn aside from the way which I command you today, to go after other gods which you have not known.
