2 Nilikha nga ng Diyos ang langit at ang lupa at ang lahat ng bagay na naroroon. ²Tinapos^(A) ^(B) niyang likhain ang lahat ng ito sa loob ng anim na araw, at siya'y nagpahinga sa ikapitong araw. ³Pinagpala niya ang ikapitong araw at itinuring itong banal, sapagkat sa araw na ito siya nagpahinga matapos likhain ang lahat.

Genesis 2:1-3

New International Version

2 Thus the heavens and the earth were completed in all their vast array.^(A)

²By the seventh day^(B) God had finished the work he had been doing; so on the seventh day he rested from all his work.^(C) ³Then God blessed the seventh day and made it holy,^(D) because on it he rested^(E) from all the work of creating^(F) that he had done.
