⁴ Before they lay down, ^(A)the men of the city—the men of Sodom—surrounded the house, both young and old, all the people ^[a]from every quarter; ⁵ and they called to Lot and said to him, “^(B)Where are the men who came to you tonight? Bring them out to us that we may ^[b]have relations with them.”

⁴⁶ Now your ^(A)older sister is Samaria, who lives ^[a]north of you with her ^[b]daughters; and your younger sister, who lives ^[c]south of you, is ^(B)Sodom with her ^[d]daughters. ⁴⁷ Yet you have not merely walked in their ways and ^[e]committed their abominations; but, as if that were ^(C)too little, you also acted ^(D)more corruptly in all your conduct than they. ⁴⁸ As I live,” declares the Lord God, “Sodom, your sister and her daughters have ^(E)not done as you and your daughters have done!
