22 Hurry up! Run to it, for I cannot do anything until you get there.’ Therefore the name of the city is Zoar.[a](A)
23 The sun had risen over the land when Lot reached Zoar. 24 Then out of the sky the Lord rained on Sodom and Gomorrah burning sulphur from the Lord.(B)

New International Version
22 But flee there quickly, because I cannot do anything until you reach it.” (That is why the town was called Zoar.[a](A))
23 By the time Lot reached Zoar,(B) the sun had risen over the land. 24 Then the Lord rained down burning sulfur(C) on Sodom and Gomorrah(D)—from the Lord out of the heavens.(E)
