Genesis 16:11-13

“You ·are now pregnant [have conceived],
    and you will ·have [^Lgive birth to] a son.
You will name him Ishmael [^Csounds like the verb “to hear”],
    because the Lord has heard ·your cries [^Lof your affliction].
¹² Ishmael will be ·like a wild donkey [^La wild donkey/ass of a man].
    ·He [^LHis hand] will be against everyone,
    and ·everyone [^Leveryone’s hand] will be against him.
He will ·attack [^Ldwell against] all his brothers.”
