6 Nanalig si Abram sa Panginoon. At dahil dito, itinuring siyang matuwid.
7 Sinabi pa niya kay Abram, “Ako ang Panginoon na nag-utos sa iyo na lisanin ang Ur na sakop ng mga Caldeo[a] para ibigay sa iyo ang lupaing ito at magiging pag-aari mo.”
8 Pero sinabi ni Abram, “O Panginoong Dios, paano ko po malalaman na magiging akin ito?”

6 Abram believed the Lord, and he credited it to him as righteousness.(A)
7 He also said to him, “I am the Lord, who brought you out(B) of Ur of the Chaldeans(C) to give you this land to take possession of it.”(D)
8 But Abram said, “Sovereign Lord,(E) how can I know(F) that I will gain possession of it?”(G)
