¹⁸ On that day the Lord made a covenant with Abram, saying, “I give this land to your offspring,^(A) from the Brook of Egypt^(B) to the great river, the Euphrates River:

¹³ Remember your servants Abraham, Isaac, and Israel—you swore to them by yourself^(A) and declared, ‘I will make your offspring as numerous as the stars of the sky and will give your offspring all this land that I have promised, and they will inherit it forever.’”^(B)

⁴ “There will be no poor among you, however, because the Lord is certain to bless you in the land the Lord your God is giving you to possess as an inheritance^(A)—
