Genesis 1:7-9

New International Version

⁷ So God made the vault and separated the water under the vault from the water above it.^(A) And it was so.^{(B) 8} God called^(C) the vault “sky.”^(D) And there was evening, and there was morning^(E)—the second day.

⁹ And God said, “Let the water under the sky be gathered to one place,^(F) and let dry ground^(G) appear.” And it was so.^(H)
