Genesis 1:7-9

⁷ God made the ^[a]expanse, and separated ^(A)the waters that were below the ^[b]expanse from the waters ^(B)that were above the ^[c]expanse; and it was so. ⁸ God called the ^[d]expanse “heaven.” And there was evening and there was morning, a second day.

⁹ Then God said, “^(C)Let the waters below the heavens be gathered into one place, and let ^(D)the dry land appear”; and it was so.
