⁶ Then God said, ^(A)“Let there be a ^[a]firmament in the midst of the waters, and let it divide the waters from the waters.”

⁷ Thus God made the firmament, ^(A)and divided the waters which were under the firmament from the waters which were ^(B)above the firmament; and it was so.

³ By faith we understand that ^(A)the ^[a]worlds were framed by the word of God, so that the things which are seen were not made of things which are visible.

⁵ For this they willfully forget: that ^(A)by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth ^(B)standing out of water and in the water,
