Genesis 1:5-7

5 God named the light “day,” and he named the darkness “night.”
There was evening, and then there was morning. This was the first day.

6 Then God said, “Let there be a space[a] to separate the water into two parts!” 7 So God made the space and separated the water. Some of the water was above it, and some of the water was below it.

6 And God said,(D) “Let there be a vault(E) between the waters(F) to separate water from water.” 7 So God made the vault and separated the water under the vault from the water above it.(G) And it was so.(H)
