3 有一天，该隐把地里的出产拿来，当作礼物献给耶和华。 4 亚伯也把自己羊群中一些头生的，和羊的脂油拿来献上。耶和华看中了亚伯和他的礼物； 5 只是没有看中该隐和他的礼物。该隐就非常忿怒，垂头丧气。 6 耶和华对该隐说：“你为甚么忿怒呢？你为甚么垂头丧气呢？ 7 你若行得好，岂不可以抬起头来吗？你若行得不好，罪就伏在门口了；它要缠住你，你却要制伏它。”

3 In the course of time Cain brought some of the fruits of the soil as an offering(A) to the Lord.(B) 4 And Abel also brought an offering—fat portions(C) from some of the firstborn of his flock.(D) The Lord looked with favor on Abel and his offering,(E) 5 but on Cain and his offering he did not look with favor. So Cain was very angry, and his face was downcast.
6 Then the Lord said to Cain, “Why are you angry?(F) Why is your face downcast? 7 If you do what is right, will you not be accepted? But if you do not do what is right, sin is crouching at your door;(G) it desires to have you, but you must rule over it.(H)”

And the Lord (C)had regard for Abel and his offering, 5 but (D)for Cain and his offering he had no regard. So Cain was very angry, and his face fell. 6 The Lord said to Cain, “Why are you angry, and why has your face fallen? 7 (E)If you do well, will you not be accepted?[a] And if you do not do well, sin is crouching at the door. (F)Its desire is for[b] you, and you must rule over it.”

4 And Abel, he also brought of the firstlings of his flock and of the fat thereof. And the Lord had respect unto Abel and to his offering:
5 But unto Cain and to his offering he had not respect. And Cain was very wroth, and his countenance fell.
6 And the Lord said unto Cain, Why art thou wroth? and why is thy countenance fallen?
7 If thou doest well, shalt thou not be accepted? and if thou doest not well, sin lieth at the door. And unto thee shall be his desire, and thou shalt rule over him.
