Called to Blessing

⁸ Finally, all of you be of one mind, having compassion for one another; love as brothers, be tenderhearted, be ^[a]courteous;

^14 (A)Pursue peace with all people, and holiness, ^(B)without which no one will see the Lord:

^17 (A)Repay no one evil for evil. ^(B)Have^[a] regard for good things in the sight of all men. ¹⁸ If it is possible, as much as depends on you, ^(C)live peaceably with all men.

Sodom’s Depravity

19 Now ^(A)the two angels came to Sodom in the evening, and ^(B)Lot was sitting in the gate of Sodom. When Lot saw them, he rose to meet them, and he bowed himself with his face toward the ground.
