¹⁸ And Lot said to them, “Oh, no, my lords.

¹³ But Ananias answered, “Lord, I have heard from many about this man, ^(A)how much evil he has done to ^(B)your ^(C)saints at Jerusalem.

⁶ He came to Simon Peter, who said to him, “Lord, do you wash my feet?” ^7 (A)Jesus answered him, “What I am doing ^(B)you do not understand now, but afterward you will understand.” ^8 (C)Peter said to him, “You shall never wash my feet.” Jesus answered him, ^(D)“If I do not wash you, you have no share with me.”

¹¹ But Naaman was angry and went away, saying, “Behold, I thought that he would surely come out to me and stand and call upon the name of the Lord his God, and wave his hand over the place and cure the leper. ¹² Are not Abana^[a] and Pharpar, the rivers of ^(A)Damascus, better than all the waters of Israel? Could I not wash in them and be clean?” So he turned and went away in a rage.
