18 Mais quand je me suis mise à crier pour appeler au secours, il a abandonné son vêtement à côté de moi et s’est enfui dehors.
19 Quand le maître de Joseph entendit le récit de sa femme qui lui disait : « Voilà comment ton serviteur s’est comporté envers moi », il se mit dans une grande colère.
En prison
20 Il fit saisir Joseph pour le jeter dans la maison d’arrêt où étaient détenus les prisonniers du roi. Ainsi Joseph demeura dans la prison.

Genesis 39:18-20
New King James Version
18 so it happened, as I lifted my voice and cried out, that he left his garment with me and fled outside.”
19 So it was, when his master heard the words which his wife spoke to him, saying, “Your servant did to me after this manner,” that his (A)anger was aroused. 20 Then Joseph’s master took him and (B)put him into the (C)prison, a place where the king’s prisoners were confined. And he was there in the prison.

18 But as soon as I screamed for help, he left his cloak beside me and ran out of the house.”
19 When his master heard the story his wife told him, saying, “This is how your slave treated me,” he burned with anger.(A) 20 Joseph’s master took him and put him in prison,(B) the place where the king’s prisoners were confined.
