3 Je bénirai ceux qui te béniront et je maudirai ceux qui te maudiront, et *toutes les familles de la terre seront bénies en toi[a].»
4 Abram partit conformément à la parole de l'Eternel, et Lot partit avec lui. Abram était âgé de 75 ans lorsqu'il quitta Charan. 5 Il prit sa femme Saraï et Lot, le fils de son frère. Il prit aussi tous les biens et les serviteurs dont ils étaient devenus propriétaires à Charan, et ils partirent pour se rendre dans le pays de Canaan, où ils arrivèrent.

3 I will bless those who bless you,
and whoever curses you I will curse;(A)
and all peoples on earth
will be blessed through you.(B)”[a]
4 So Abram went, as the Lord had told him; and Lot(C) went with him. Abram was seventy-five years old(D) when he set out from Harran.(E) 5 He took his wife Sarai,(F) his nephew Lot, all the possessions they had accumulated(G) and the people(H) they had acquired in Harran, and they set out for the land of Canaan,(I) and they arrived there.
