⁹Let us not become weary in doing good,^(A) for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.^(B) ¹⁰Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good^(C) to all people, especially to those who belong to the family^(D) of believers.

⁹Let us not grow weary or become discouraged in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap, if we do not give in. ¹⁰So then, while we [as individual believers] have the opportunity, let us do good to all people [not only being helpful, but also doing that which promotes their spiritual well-being], and especially [be a blessing] to those of the household of faith (born-again believers).

^9-10So let’s not allow ourselves to get fatigued doing good. At the right time we will harvest a good crop if we don’t give up, or quit. Right now, therefore, every time we get the chance, let us work for the benefit of all, starting with the people closest to us in the community of faith.
