8 Expiró tras una feliz vejez y, colmado de años, fue a reunirse con sus antepasados. 9 Sus hijos, Isaac e Ismael, lo enterraron en la cueva de Macpelá, en el campo de Efrón, hijo de Sojar, el hitita, enfrente de Mambré. 10 Abrahán había comprado ese campo a los hititas, y allí fueron enterrados Abrahán y Sara, su mujer.

Luego de haber vivido muchos años, fue a reunirse con sus antepasados. 9 Sus hijos Isaac e Ismael lo sepultaron en la cueva de Macpela, que está cerca de Mamré, es decir, en el campo del hitita Efrón, hijo de Zojar. 10 Este era el campo que Abraham había comprado a los hititas. Allí lo enterraron, junto a su esposa Sara.

8 Then Abraham breathed his last and died at a good old age,(A) an old man and full of years; and he was gathered to his people.(B) 9 His sons Isaac and Ishmael buried him(C) in the cave of Machpelah(D) near Mamre,(E) in the field of Ephron(F) son of Zohar the Hittite,(G) 10 the field Abraham had bought from the Hittites.[a](H) There Abraham was buried with his wife Sarah.

The Message
7-11 Abraham lived 175 years. Then he took his final breath. He died happy at a ripe old age, full of years, and was buried with his family. His sons Isaac and Ishmael buried him in the cave of Machpelah in the field of Ephron son of Zohar the Hittite, next to Mamre. It was the field that Abraham had bought from the Hittites. Abraham was buried next to his wife Sarah. After Abraham’s death, God blessed his son Isaac. Isaac lived at Beer Lahai Roi.
