16 Mas él titubeaba. Entonces los dos hombres tomaron su mano(A) y la mano de su mujer y la mano de sus dos hijas, porque[a] la compasión del Señor estaba sobre él(B); y lo sacaron y lo pusieron fuera de la ciudad. 17 Y aconteció que cuando los habían llevado fuera, uno le dijo: Huye por tu vida(C). No mires detrás de ti(D) y no te detengas en ninguna parte del valle[b](E); escapa al monte(F), no sea que perezcas[c]. 18 Pero Lot les dijo: No, por favor, señores míos.

16 When he hesitated, the men grasped his hand and the hands of his wife and of his two daughters(A) and led them safely out of the city, for the Lord was merciful to them.(B) 17 As soon as they had brought them out, one of them said, “Flee for your lives!(C) Don’t look back,(D) and don’t stop anywhere in the plain!(E) Flee to the mountains(F) or you will be swept away!”
18 But Lot said to them, “No, my lords,[a] please!
