8 Además del ternero, Abraham les ofreció a sus invitados mantequilla y leche. Mientras ellos comían, Abraham se quedó de pie bajo un árbol, atento para servirles.
9 Los visitantes le preguntaron:
—¿Y dónde está tu esposa?
Abraham les respondió:
—Está dentro de la tienda.
10 Uno de ellos le dijo:
—El año que viene volveré a visitarte, y para entonces tu esposa ya será madre de un hijo.
Sara estaba a la entrada de la tienda, detrás de Abraham, escuchando lo que decían.

English Standard Version
8 Then he took curds and milk and the calf that he had prepared, and set it before them. And he stood by them under the tree while they ate.
9 They said to him, “Where is Sarah your wife?” And he said, “She is (A)in the tent.” 10 The Lord said, “I will surely return to you (B)about this time next year, and (C)Sarah your wife shall have a son.” And Sarah was listening at the tent door behind him.

Contemporary English Version
8 He then served his guests some yogurt and milk together with the meat.
While they were eating, he stood near them under the tree, 9 and they asked, “Where's your wife Sarah?”
“She is right there in the tent,” Abraham answered.
10 (A) One of the guests was the Lord, and he said, “I'll come back about this time next year, and when I do, Sarah will already have a son.”
Sarah was behind Abraham, listening at the entrance to the tent.
