16 hindi na bilang alipin kundi higit pa sa isang alipin, bilang isang minamahal na kapatid. Napamahal na siya sa akin, ngunit lalo na sa iyo, hindi lang bilang tao kundi bilang kapatid sa Panginoon.
17 Kaya't kung itinuturing mo ako bilang katuwang, tanggapin mo siya na parang ako ang tinatanggap mo. 18 Kung siya ma'y nagkasala sa iyo, o may anumang pagkakautang, ako na lang ang singilin mo.

16 no longer as a slave,(A) but better than a slave, as a dear brother.(B) He is very dear to me but even dearer to you, both as a fellow man and as a brother in the Lord.
17 So if you consider me a partner,(C) welcome him as you would welcome me. 18 If he has done you any wrong or owes you anything, charge it to me.(D)
