16 hindi na bilang alipin, kundi higit sa alipin, isang kapatid na minamahal, lalung-lalo na sa akin, at gaano pa kaya sa iyo, maging sa laman at gayundin sa Panginoon.
17 Kaya't kung ako ay itinuturing mong kasama, tanggapin mo siya na parang ako.
18 Ngunit kung siya'y nagkasala sa iyo ng anuman, o may anumang utang sa iyo, ay ibilang mong utang ko na rin.

16 no longer as a slave,(A) but better than a slave, as a dear brother.(B) He is very dear to me but even dearer to you, both as a fellow man and as a brother in the Lord.
17 So if you consider me a partner,(C) welcome him as you would welcome me. 18 If he has done you any wrong or owes you anything, charge it to me.(D)
