¹⁰ “‘If the offering is a burnt offering from the flock, from either the sheep^(A) or the goats,^(B) you are to offer a male without defect.

⁴⁹ Everyone will be salted^(A) with fire.

²⁹ Others were assigned to take care of the furnishings and all the other articles of the sanctuary,^(A) as well as the special flour and wine, and the olive oil, incense and spices.

Daily Offerings

28 The Lord said to Moses, ² “Give this command to the Israelites and say to them: ‘Make sure that you present to me at the appointed time^(A) my food^(B) offerings, as an aroma pleasing to me.’^{(C) 3} Say to them: ‘This is the food offering you are to present to the Lord: two lambs a year old without defect,^(D) as a regular burnt offering each day.^{(E) 4} Offer one lamb in the morning and the other at twilight,^{(F) 5} together with a grain offering^(G) of a tenth of an ephah^[a] of the finest flour^(H) mixed with a quarter of a hin^[b] of oil^(I) from pressed olives. ⁶ This is the regular burnt offering^(J) instituted at Mount Sinai^(K) as a pleasing aroma, a food offering presented to the Lord.^{(L) 7} The accompanying drink offering^(M) is to be a quarter of a hin of fermented drink^(N) with each lamb. Pour out the drink offering to the Lord at the sanctuary.^{(O) 8} Offer the second lamb at twilight,^(P) along with the same kind of grain offering and drink offering that you offer in the morning.^(Q) This is a food offering, an aroma pleasing to the Lord.^(R)

Sabbath Offerings

⁹ “‘On the Sabbath^(S) day, make an offering of two lambs a year old without defect,^(T) together with its drink offering and a grain offering of two-tenths of an ephah^[c](U) of the finest flour mixed with olive oil.^{(V) 10} This is the burnt offering for every Sabbath,^(W) in addition to the regular burnt offering^(X) and its drink offering.

Monthly Offerings

¹¹ “‘On the first of every month,^(Y) present to the Lord a burnt offering of two young bulls,^(Z) one ram^(AA) and seven male lambs a year old, all without defect.^{(AB) 12} With each bull there is to be a grain offering^(AC) of three-tenths of an ephah^[d](AD) of the finest flour mixed with oil; with the ram, a grain offering of two-tenths^(AE) of an ephah of the finest flour mixed with oil; ¹³ and with each lamb, a grain offering^(AF) of a tenth^(AG) of an ephah of the finest flour mixed with oil. This is for a burnt offering,^(AH) a pleasing aroma, a food offering presented to the Lord.^{(AI) 14} With each bull there is to be a drink offering^(AJ) of half a hin^[e] of wine; with the ram, a third of a hin^[f]; and with each lamb, a quarter of a hin. This is the monthly burnt offering to be made at each new moon^(AK) during the year. ¹⁵ Besides the regular burnt offering^(AL) with its drink offering, one male goat^(AM) is to be presented to the Lord as a sin offering.^[g](AN)

The Passover^(AO)

¹⁶ “‘On the fourteenth day of the first month the Lord’s Passover^(AP) is to be held. ¹⁷ On the fifteenth day of this month there is to be a festival; for seven days^(AQ) eat bread made without yeast.^{(AR) 18} On the first day hold a sacred assembly and do no regular work.^{(AS) 19} Present to the Lord a food offering^(AT) consisting of a burnt offering of two young bulls, one ram and seven male lambs a year old, all without defect.^{(AU) 20} With each bull offer a grain offering of three-tenths of an ephah^(AV) of the finest flour mixed with oil; with the ram, two-tenths;^{(AW) 21} and with each of the seven lambs, one-tenth.^{(AX) 22} Include one male goat as a sin offering^(AY) to make atonement for you.^{(AZ) 23} Offer these in addition to the regular morning burnt offering. ²⁴ In this way present the food offering every day for seven days as an aroma pleasing to the Lord;^(BA) it is to be offered in addition to the regular burnt offering and its drink offering. ²⁵ On the seventh day hold a sacred assembly and do no regular work.

The Festival of Weeks^(BB)

²⁶ “‘On the day of firstfruits,^(BC) when you present to the Lord an offering of new grain during the Festival of Weeks,^(BD) hold a sacred assembly and do no regular work.^{(BE) 27} Present a burnt offering of two young bulls, one ram and seven male lambs a year old as an aroma pleasing to the Lord.^{(BF) 28} With each bull there is to be a grain offering of three-tenths of an ephah of the finest flour mixed with oil; with the ram, two-tenths;^{(BG) 29} and with each of the seven lambs, one-tenth.^(BH)

⁴ then the person who brings an offering shall present to the Lord a grain offering^(A) of a tenth of an ephah^[a] of the finest flour^(B) mixed with a quarter of a hin^[b] of olive oil. ⁵ With each lamb^(C) for the burnt offering or the sacrifice, prepare a quarter of a hin of wine^(D) as a drink offering.^(E)

⁶ “‘With a ram^(F) prepare a grain offering^(G) of two-tenths of an ephah^[c](H) of the finest flour mixed with a third of a hin^[d] of olive oil,^{(I) 7} and a third of a hin of wine^(J) as a drink offering.^(K) Offer it as an aroma pleasing to the Lord.^(L)

⁸ “‘When you prepare a young bull^(M) as a burnt offering or sacrifice, for a special vow^(N) or a fellowship offering^(O) to the Lord, ⁹ bring with the bull a grain offering^(P) of three-tenths of an ephah^[e](Q) of the finest flour mixed with half a hin^[f] of olive oil, ¹⁰ and also bring half a hin of wine^(R) as a drink offering.^(S) This will be a food offering, an aroma pleasing to the Lord.^{(T) 11} Each bull or ram, each lamb or young goat, is to be prepared in this manner. ¹² Do this for each one, for as many as you prepare.^(U)

¹³ “‘Everyone who is native-born^(V) must do these things in this way when they present a food offering as an aroma pleasing to the Lord.^{(W) 14} For the generations to come,^(X) whenever a foreigner^(Y) or anyone else living among you presents a food^(Z) offering^(AA) as an aroma pleasing to the Lord, they must do exactly as you do. ¹⁵ The community is to have the same rules for you and for the foreigner residing among you; this is a lasting ordinance for the generations to come.^(AB) You and the foreigner shall be the same before the Lord: ¹⁶ The same laws and regulations will apply both to you and to the foreigner residing among you.^(AC)’”

¹⁷ The Lord said to Moses, ¹⁸ “Speak to the Israelites and say to them: ‘When you enter the land to which I am taking you^{(AD) 19} and you eat the food of the land,^(AE) present a portion as an offering to the Lord.^{(AF) 20} Present a loaf from the first of your ground meal^(AG) and present it as an offering from the threshing floor.^{(AH) 21} Throughout the generations to come^(AI) you are to give this offering to the Lord from the first of your ground meal.^(AJ)

Offerings for Unintentional Sins

²² “‘Now if you as a community unintentionally fail to keep any of these commands the Lord gave Moses^(AK)— ²³ any of the Lord’s commands to you through him, from the day the Lord gave them and continuing through the generations to come^(AL)— ²⁴ and if this is done unintentionally^(AM) without the community being aware of it,^(AN) then the whole community is to offer a young bull for a burnt offering^(AO) as an aroma pleasing to the Lord,^(AP) along with its prescribed grain offering^(AQ) and drink offering,^(AR) and a male goat for a sin offering.^{[g](AS) 25} The priest is to make atonement for the whole Israelite community, and they will be forgiven,^(AT) for it was not intentional^(AU) and they have presented to the Lord for their wrong a food offering^(AV) and a sin offering.^{(AW) 26} The whole Israelite community and the foreigners residing among them will be forgiven, because all the people were involved in the unintentional wrong.^(AX)

²⁷ “‘But if just one person sins unintentionally,^(AY) that person must bring a year-old female goat for a sin offering.^{(AZ) 28} The priest is to make atonement^(BA) before the Lord for the one who erred by sinning unintentionally, and when atonement has been made, that person will be forgiven.^{(BB) 29} One and the same law applies to everyone who sins unintentionally, whether a native-born Israelite or a foreigner residing among you.^(BC)

³⁰ “‘But anyone who sins defiantly,^(BD) whether native-born or foreigner,^(BE) blasphemes the Lord^(BF) and must be cut off from the people of Israel.^{(BG) 31} Because they have despised^(BH) the Lord’s word and broken his commands,^(BI) they must surely be cut off; their guilt remains on them.^(BJ)’”
