¹³ Now let it be known to the king, that if that city is rebuilt and the walls are finished, ^(A)they will not pay tribute, custom or toll, and it will damage the revenue of the kings.

²⁴ We also inform you that ^(A)it is not allowed to ^[a]impose tax, tribute or toll ^(B)on any of the priests, Levites, singers, doorkeepers, Nethinim or servants of this house of God.
