2 In this area there will be a square section[a] for the sanctuary, 875 by 875 feet,[b](A) with 87½ feet[c] of open space all around it. 3 From this holy portion,[d] you will measure off an area 8⅓ miles[e] long and 3⅓ miles[f] wide, in which the sanctuary, the most holy place,(B) will stand.[g] 4 It will be a holy area of the land to be used by the priests who minister in the sanctuary, who draw near to serve the Lord.(C) It will be a place for their houses, as well as a holy area for the sanctuary.

2 Of this, a section 500 cubits[a] square(A) is to be for the sanctuary, with 50 cubits[b] around it for open land. 3 In the sacred district, measure off a section 25,000 cubits long and 10,000 cubits[c] wide. In it will be the sanctuary, the Most Holy Place. 4 It will be the sacred portion of the land for the priests,(B) who minister in the sanctuary and who draw near to minister before the Lord. It will be a place for their houses as well as a holy place for the sanctuary.(C)

3 And of this measure shalt thou measure the length of five and twenty thousand, and the breadth of ten thousand: and in it shall be the sanctuary and the most holy place.
4 The holy portion of the land shall be for the priests the ministers of the sanctuary, which shall come near to minister unto the Lord: and it shall be a place for their houses, and an holy place for the sanctuary.
