13 He measured the gateway from the roof of one alcove to the roof of the other, a width of 43¾ feet[a] from one entrance to the opposite one. 14 He measured[b] the porch[c] at 105 feet[d] high;[e] the gateway went all around to the jamb of the courtyard. 15 From the front of the entrance gate to the porch of the inner gate was 87½ feet.[f]

13 Then he measured the gateway from the top of the rear wall of one alcove to the top of the opposite one; the distance was twenty-five cubits[a] from one parapet opening to the opposite one. 14 He measured along the faces of the projecting walls all around the inside of the gateway—sixty cubits.[b] The measurement was up to the portico[c] facing the courtyard.[d](A) 15 The distance from the entrance of the gateway to the far end of its portico was fifty cubits.[e]
