⁶ In days to come^[a] Jacob shall take root;
    Israel shall blossom and put forth shoots
    and fill the whole world with fruit.^(A)

“in a very little while,
    the one who is coming will come and will not delay,^(A)

¹³ The time is surely coming, says the Lord,
    when the one who plows shall catch up with the one who reaps
    and the treader of grapes with the one who sows the seed;
the mountains shall drip sweet wine,
    and all the hills shall flow with it.^(A)
14 I will restore the fortunes of my people Israel,
    and they shall rebuild the ruined cities and inhabit them;
they shall plant vineyards and drink their wine,
    and they shall make gardens and eat their fruit.^(B)
15 I will plant them upon their land,
    and they shall never again be plucked up
    out of the land that I have given them,
            says the Lord your God.^(C)

²¹ On that day I will answer, says the Lord,
    I will answer the heavens,
    and they shall answer the earth,
²² and the earth shall answer the grain, the wine, and the oil,
    and they shall answer Jezreel,^[a](A)
23     and I will sow him^[b] for myself in the land.
And I will have pity on Lo-ruhamah,^[c]
    and I will say to Lo-ammi,^[d] “You are my people,”
    and he shall say, “You are my God.”^(B)
