Ezekiel 28:7-9

7 Behold, therefore, I will bring (A)strangers against you,
(B)The most terrible of the nations;
And they shall draw their swords against the beauty of your wisdom,
And defile your splendor.
8 They shall throw you down into the (C)Pit,
And you shall die the death of the slain
In the midst of the seas.
9 “Will you still (D)say before him who slays you,
‘I am a god’?
But you shall be a man, and not a god,
In the hand of him who slays you.

7 therefore, behold, I will bring (A)foreigners upon you,
the most ruthless of the nations;
and they shall draw their swords against (B)the beauty of your wisdom
and defile (C)your splendor.
8 (D)They shall thrust you down into the pit,
(E)and you shall die the death of the slain
in the heart of the seas.
9 (F)Will you still say, ‘I am a god,’
in the presence of those who kill you,
though (G)you are but a man, and no god,
in the hands of those who slay you?
