³ they say, ‘The time is not near to build houses; this city is the pot, and we are the meat.’^(A)

⁷ Therefore thus says the Lord God: The slain whom you have placed within it are the meat, and this city is the pot, but you shall be taken out of it.^(A)

³ And utter an allegory to the rebellious house and say to them: Thus says the Lord God:

² He said to me, “What do you see?” And I said, “I see a lampstand all of gold, with a bowl on the top of it; there are seven lamps on it, with seven lips on each of the lamps that are on the top of it.^(A)
