¹⁸So I poured my anger on them^[a] because of the blood they shed on the land and because of the idols with which they defiled it.^[b]

¹⁸So I poured out^(A) my wrath on them because they had shed blood in the land and because they had defiled it with their idols.

¹⁸Wherefore I poured my fury upon them for the blood that they had shed upon the land, and for their idols wherewith they had polluted it:
