¹⁸ The remainder of the length alongside the holy portion shall be ten thousand cubits to the east and ten thousand to the west, and it shall be alongside the holy portion. Its produce shall be food for the workers of the city.^(A)

⁶ “Alongside the portion set apart as the holy district you shall assign as a holding for the city an area five thousand cubits wide and twenty-five thousand cubits long; it shall belong to the whole house of Israel.^(A)

⁵⁷ The descendants of Solomon’s servants: of Sotai, of Sophereth, of Perida,^{(B) 58} of Jaala, of Darkon, of Giddel, ⁵⁹ of Shephatiah, of Hattil, of Pochereth-hazzebaim, of Amon.

⁶⁰ All the temple servants and the descendants of Solomon’s servants were three hundred ninety-two.^(C)

⁵⁸ All the temple servants and the descendants of Solomon’s servants were three hundred ninety-two.^(D)

²⁷ But on that day Joshua made them woodcutters and drawers of water for the congregation and for the altar of the Lord, to continue to this day, in the place that he should choose.^(A)
