²² therefore I will save My flock, and they shall no longer be a prey; and I will judge between sheep and sheep.

² Therefore thus says the Lord God of Israel against the shepherds who feed My people: “You have scattered My flock, driven them away, and not attended to them. ^(A)Behold, I will attend to you for the evil of your doings,” says the Lord. ³ “But ^(B)I will gather the remnant of My flock out of all countries where I have driven them, and bring them back to their folds; and they shall be fruitful and increase.

¹⁰ Thus says the Lord God: “Behold, I am ^(A)against the shepherds, and ^(B)I will require My flock at their hand; I will cause them to cease feeding the sheep, and the shepherds shall ^(C)feed themselves no more; for I will ^(D)deliver My flock from their mouths, that they may no longer be food for them.”

⁷ So I fed the flock for slaughter, ^[a]in particular ^(A)the poor of the flock. I took for myself two staffs: the one I called ^[b]Beauty, and the other I called ^[c]Bonds; and I fed the flock. ⁸ I ^[d]dismissed the three shepherds ^(B)in one month. My soul loathed them, and their soul also abhorred me. ⁹ Then I said, “I will not feed you. ^(C)Let what is dying die, and what is perishing perish. Let those that are left eat each other’s flesh.”
