^53 (A)“When I bring back their captives, the captives of Sodom and her daughters, and the captives of Samaria and her daughters, then I will also bring back ^(B)the captives of your captivity among them,

²⁵ “Therefore thus says the Lord God: ^(A)‘Now I will bring back the captives of Jacob, and have mercy on the ^(B)whole house of Israel; and I will be jealous for My holy name—

¹⁴ I will bring back the captives of Egypt and cause them to return to the land of Pathros, to the land of their origin, and there they shall be a ^(A)lowly kingdom.

¹⁶ And it shall be, if they will learn carefully the ways of My people, ^(A)to swear by My name, ‘As the Lord lives,’ as they taught My people to swear by Baal, then they shall be ^(B)established in the midst of My people.

²⁴ In that day Israel will be one of three with Egypt and Assyria—a blessing in the midst of the land, ²⁵ whom the Lord of hosts shall bless, saying, “Blessed is Egypt My people, and Assyria ^(A)the work of My hands, and Israel My inheritance.”

²³ And they also, ^(A)if they do not continue in unbelief, will be grafted in, for God is able to graft them in again. ²⁴ For if you were cut out of the olive tree which is wild by nature, and were grafted contrary to nature into a cultivated olive tree, how much more will these, who are natural branches, be grafted into their own olive tree?

²⁵ For I do not desire, brethren, that you should be ignorant of this mystery, lest you should be ^(B)wise in your own ^[a]opinion, that ^(C)blindness in part has happened to Israel ^(D)until the fullness of the Gentiles has come in. ²⁶ And so all Israel will be ^[b]saved, as it is written:

²⁸ Concerning the gospel they are enemies for your sake, but concerning the election they are ^(G)beloved for the sake of the fathers. ²⁹ For the gifts and the calling of God are ^(H)irrevocable. ³⁰ For as you ^(I)were once disobedient to God, yet have now obtained mercy through their disobedience, ³¹ even so these also have now been disobedient, that through the mercy shown you they also may obtain mercy.

⁶⁰ “Nevertheless I will ^(A)remember My covenant with you in the days of your youth, and I will establish ^(B)an everlasting covenant with you. ⁶¹ Then ^(C)you will remember your ways and be ashamed, when you receive your older and your younger sisters; for I will give them to you for ^(D)daughters, ^(E)but not because of My covenant with you.
