¹⁰ You will fall by the sword, and I will execute judgment on you at the borders of Israel.^(A) Then you will know that I am the Lord.

²⁵ He was the one who restored the boundaries of Israel from Lebo Hamath^(A) to the Dead Sea,^[a](B) in accordance with the word of the Lord, the God of Israel, spoken through his servant Jonah^(C) son of Amittai, the prophet from Gath Hepher.

⁷ Your people will fall slain^(A) among you, and you will know that I am the Lord.^(B)

⁹ and he was captured.^(A)

He was taken to the king of Babylon at Riblah^(B) in the land of Hamath,^(C) where he pronounced sentence on him. ¹⁰ There at Riblah the king of Babylon killed the sons^(D) of Zedekiah before his eyes; he also killed all the officials of Judah.

⁶ There at Riblah the king of Babylon slaughtered the sons of Zedekiah before his eyes and also killed all the nobles^(A) of Judah.

¹⁹ Of those still in the city, he took the officer in charge of the fighting men, and five royal advisers. He also took the secretary who was chief officer in charge of conscripting the people of the land and sixty of the conscripts who were found in the city. ²⁰ Nebuzaradan the commander took them all and brought them to the king of Babylon at Riblah. ²¹ There at Riblah,^(A) in the land of Hamath, the king had them executed.^(B)

So Judah went into captivity,^(C) away from her land.^(D)

²³ therefore you will no longer see false visions^(A) or practice divination.^(B) I will save^(C) my people from your hands. And then you will know that I am the Lord.^(D)’”

²¹ I will tear off your veils and save my people from your hands, and they will no longer fall prey to your power. Then you will know that I am the Lord.^(A)

¹⁴ I will tear down the wall^(A) you have covered with whitewash and will level it to the ground so that its foundation^(B) will be laid bare. When it^[a] falls,^(C) you will be destroyed in it; and you will know that I am the Lord.
