7 And Pharaoh sent, and behold, not one of the livestock of Israel was dead. But (A)the heart of Pharaoh was hardened, and he did not let the people go.

8 And the Lord said to Moses and Aaron, “Take handfuls of soot from the kiln, and let Moses throw them in the air in the sight of Pharaoh. 9 It shall become fine dust over all the land of Egypt, and become (B)boils breaking out in sores on man and beast throughout all the land of Egypt.”

7 Pharaoh investigated and found that not even one of the animals of the Israelites had died. Yet his heart(A) was unyielding and he would not let the people go.(B)

8 Then the Lord said to Moses and Aaron, “Take handfuls of soot from a furnace and have Moses toss it into the air in the presence of Pharaoh. 9 It will become fine dust over the whole land of Egypt, and festering boils(C) will break out on people and animals throughout the land.”
