The Plague of Hail

¹⁸ Behold, about this time tomorrow, ^(A)I will ^[a]send a very heavy hail, such as has not been seen in Egypt from the day it was founded ^[b]until now.

²³ So Moses reached out with his staff toward the sky, and the Lord ^[a]sent ^[b]thunder and ^(A)hail, and fire ran down to the earth. And the Lord rained hail on the land of Egypt.

¹⁸ So Samuel called to the Lord, and the Lord sent ^[a]thunder and rain that day; and ^(A)all the people greatly feared the Lord and Samuel.

¹⁹ Then all the people said to Samuel, “^(A)Pray to the Lord your God for your servants, so that we do not die; for we have added to all our sins ^(B)this evil, by asking for ourselves a king.”
