¹¹ But then Pharaoh called the wise men and sorcerers—the magicians^(A) of Egypt, and they also did the same thing by their occult practices.^(B)

¹¹ The magicians could not stand before Moses because of the boils, for the boils were on the magicians as well as on all the Egyptians.^(A)

⁸ So all the king’s wise men came in, but none could read the inscription or make its interpretation known to him.
