18 ¶ Therefore Moses went and returned to Jethro his father-in-law, and said unto him, I pray thee, let me go, and return to my [a]brethren, which are in Egypt, and see whether they be yet alive. Then Jethro said to Moses, Go in peace.
19 (For the Lord had said unto Moses in Midian, Go, return to Egypt: for they are all dead which [b]went about to kill thee.)
20 Then Moses took his wife and his sons, and [c]put them on an ass, and returned toward the land of Egypt, and Moses took the [d]rod of God in his hand.
