37 After this, Bezalel made the Ark of shittim wood, two cubits and a half long, and a cubit and a half broad, and a cubit and a half high.

² And he overlaid it with fine gold, inside and outside, and made a border of gold for it, all around.

³ And he cast four rings of gold for it (for the four corners of it), two rings for one side of it and two rings for the other side of it.

⁴ Also, he made poles of shittim wood and covered them with gold.

⁵ And he put the poles in the rings by the sides of the Ark, to bear the Ark.

⁶ And he made the Mercy Seat of pure gold. The length of it was two and a half cubits, and the breadth of it one cubit and a half.

⁷ And he made two Cherubims of gold upon the two ends of the Mercy Seat. He made them of work beaten with the hammer,

⁸ one Cherub on one end and another Cherub on the other end. He made the Cherubims as part of the Mercy Seat, at its two ends.

⁹ And the Cherubims spread out their wings on high and covered the Mercy Seat with their wings. And their faces were towards each another. The faces of the Cherubims were toward the Mercy Seat.

¹⁰ Also, he made the Table of shittim wood. The length of it was two cubits and its breadth a cubit. And the height of it was a cubit and a half.

¹¹ And he overlaid it with fine gold and made a border of gold for it, all around.

¹² Also, he made a rim for it, the size of a hand-breadth, all around, and made a border of gold upon the rim, all around.

¹³ And he cast four rings of gold for it and put the rings in the four corners, on its four feet.

¹⁴ Against the border were the rings, as places for the poles to bear the Table.

¹⁵ And he made the poles of shittim wood and covered them with gold, to bear the Table.

¹⁶ Also, he made the instruments for the Table (of pure gold): dishes for it, and cups for it, and bowls for it, and jars for it (with which to pour drink offerings).

¹⁷ Likewise, he made the Lampstand of pure gold. He made the Lampstand of work beaten out with the hammer. Its shaft, its branch, its bowls, its knobs, and its flowers were of one piece.

¹⁸ And six branches came out of the sides of it, three branches of the Lampstand out of one side of it and three branches of the Lampstand out of the other side of it.

¹⁹ On one branch there were three bowls (made like almonds), a knob, and a flower. And on another branch were three bowls (made like almonds), a knob and a flower. So it was on all the six branches that proceeded out of the Lampstand.

²⁰ And upon the Lampstand were four bowls (after the fashion of almonds), its knobs and its flowers.

²¹ That is, under the first two branches there was a knob, and a knob under the second two branches, and a knob under the third two branches, according to the six branches coming out of it.

²² Their knobs and their branches were part of the same piece. It was all one beaten work of pure gold.

²³ And he made seven lamps for it, with its snuffers and its trays of pure gold.

²⁴ He made it from a talent of pure gold, with all its instruments.

²⁵ Furthermore, he made the Incense Altar of shittim wood. The length of it was a cubit, and the breadth of it a cubit (it was square), and two cubits high. Its horns were part of the same piece.

²⁶ And he covered it with pure gold, both its top and its sides, all around, and its horns. And he made a border of gold for it, all around.

²⁷ And under its border he made two rings of gold for it (in the two corners of its two sides), to put poles in with which to bear it.

²⁸ Also, he made the poles of shittim wood, and overlaid them with gold.

²⁹ And he made the holy anointing oil, and the sweet pure incense, according to the perfumer’s art.
