12 (A)Take heed to thyself, that thou make no compact with the inhabitants of the land whither thou goest, lest they be the cause of [a]ruin among you:
13 But ye shall overthrow their altars, and break their images in pieces, and cut down their [b]groves,
14 (For thou shalt bow down to none other god, because the Lord, whose Name is (B)Jealous, is a jealous God.)
