Exodus 34:11-13

¹¹ “Diligently keep that which I command you this day. Behold, I will cast out the Amorites, the Canaanites, the Hittites, the Perizzites, the Hivites, and the Jebusites before you.

¹² “Guard yourself against making any compact with the inhabitants of the land where you are going, lest they become a snare among you.

¹³ “But you shall overthrow their altars and break their images in pieces and cut down their Asherim.
